Three facts about nz

1.The world's first commercial bungee jump was a 43 metre leap off the Kawarau Bridge in Queenstown in 1988. 2. New Zealanders love their cars! ... 3. Although it is around the size of Japan, New Zealand's population is just over four million, making it one of the world's least populated countries.

    Welcome the the Summer Learning Journey for the 2018 summer. My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for Toki Pounamu. I will be commenting on your blog over the summer.

    Well done for completing your first post for the programme.
    We are so lucky to live in New Zealand as there are so many things to see and do here. Like bungee jumping for instance. This is really cool thing for people visiting NZ to do. Would I do it? No way !! I am far to chicken for this! How about you?
    This is one of the activities that makes NZ the adventure capital of the world.
    Also lucky we don't live in Auckland. Imagine how long it would take you to get to school if you had to travel in the traffic that they have up there. You would have to leave home really early in the morning just to get to school on time.

    Remember when you are posting on your blog that your answers and comments must be at least 3 sentences long and the activities in your own words.
