Thanks for sharing all that you have learnt about these two very brave aviators. One thing that I would had to your list of similarities is that they are both very brave. It would really have been a big thing to fly solo back in those days.
It is really sad that they have never found the body of Amelia Earhart. It would be sad for her family. I didn't know that she carried a mascot with her in her plane that is really interesting.
